The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
